The Citadel of the Eternal Throne | Cartography Post

This is by far my most intricate map, and so far my favorite. To illustrate, whoever loosely, Heaven and My future home with God and Jesus, my savior, is amazing.

An ink drawn, artists interpretation of Heaven

First off, I need to explain a few things:

1. This is MY fictional representation of Heaven.

2. I took elements of Heaven, the Millennial Kingdom, the New Jerusalem, the New Heavens and the New Earth as described in the Bible, plus a few locations of my own and meshed them together.

Short Timeline of History and the Future of Earth:

-God created Adam and Eve. Essentially to be His children and He, their father.

-Man willingly broke God’s Eternal laws and was separated, bringing the Curse of Sin on all creation.

-Jesus Christ, Yeshua of Nazareth, is God’s only Son. He is the Jewish Messiah and the only sinless man. In His FIRST coming, He came and dealt with Sin. He died for every sin committed by mankind.

-Therefore, when a person that accepts Jesus as their savior stands before God to be judged, Jesus takes their place and says that He paid their dept and they walk free.

-Imminently, Jesus will take His believers and ALL children below the age of accountability, out of this world.

-Then He will judge the world for their unbelief and spiritual rebellion. But even then He shows mercy, in the fact that He turns up the heat on Earth for seven years so that people may come to Him, rather than outright destruction of all.

-In His SECOND coming at the end of the 7-year tribulation, Jesus will judge every sinner for denying Him still after all the proof of his existence that He gave in the Great Tribulation.

-Jesus reigns on Earth for one-thousand years (The Millennial Kingdom). Satan is imprisoned. The Earth will be cleansed and the Curse of Sin will removed from all creation.

-After the Millennial Kingdom once all of God’s promises to His people (Jews and Christians) are fulfilled and Satan performs his one last rebellion, God will create a New Heavens and a New Earth (Eternal State), and a New Jerusalem (a massive city. Sum 1400 cubic miles) will be God’s and our dwelling place.

Anatomy of the Map: Left Side

Inscriptions:

Behold! The Eternal Throne (0).

From He who sits on it, emanates all

righteous light. An infinite rainbow of emerald

serves as His crown. Near by, home to the Stewards

of the Most High, The Manor of the 24 Elders (1) lies

on streets of gold. The Mansions of the Saints (2), hand

built by the Son of Man, lacks not space nor comfort. Ev-

ery plea from the heart is not discarded but stored in the

Dome of Unforgotten Prayers (3). Likewise, every murder of

every Saint is revered and poured into the Well of the Blood of

the Martyrs (4). The Messengers of the Highest dwell mo-

st uniquely in the Hall of Angels (5). To and fro, they fly; co-

ming and going by command. The Vault of the Book of

Life (6) holds the precious and sacred text in which are

the sealed of YAHWEH. From the Tree of Life (7)

flows the River of Life (8). The source of the

healing of the nations. Behind

is the Palace of the

Eternal Throne.

Inscription around top oval:

Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!”

&

Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah… has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”

Revelation 4:8 and 5:5b

Inscription around bottom oval:

You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”

Revelation 4:11

Legend:

The number is found on the pictograms and on the city map.

0 – The Eternal Throne:

Rev 4:3,5,6 – ...and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald… And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices… Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal.

1 – Manor of the 24 Elders:

Rev 4:4 – Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.

The Manor is my contribution.

2 – Mansions of the Saints:

John 14:2-3 – (Jesus Speaking) In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 – Dome of Unforgotten Prayers:

This one’s totally on me. Though there are verses to the effect the God remembers our prayers. I get the idea of the way a father keeps for all time, the simple, misspelled letters from his little children.

4 – Well of the Blood of the Martyrs

Rev 6:9-11 – When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

Psalm 116:15 – Precious in the sight of the Lord Is the death of His saints.

Here describes the reverence God has toward those that die for His Name's sake. So I imagined that God might keep every drop of blood of the righteous, rather than let it spill upon the ground in vain.

5 – Hall of Angels

This one also is not mentioned in the Bible. I just figured they would have a place, not that they ever need a break or sleep.

6 – Vault of the Book of Life

Rev 3:5 – He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

I imagined that so sacred and important a text as this would be placed on a pedestal in its own vault.

7 – Tree of Life

Rev 22:2 – In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

8 – River of Life

Rev 22:1 – And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Here I have the river flowing out of the Tree of Life rather than the Throne of God… Don’t ask why. I would read about it then later, I'd draw from what I remember, so errors occur.

The Living Creatures:

Rev 4:6-9 – around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within.

Again, there are some inaccuracies here. I did not give them six wings nor did I cover the wings with eyes.

Wheels about the Throne:

Ezekiel 1:16-18 – The appearance of the wheels and their workings was like the color of beryl, and all four had the same likeness. The appearance of their workings was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel. When they moved, they went toward any one of four directions; they did not turn aside when they went. As for their rims, they were so high they were awesome; and their rims were full of eyes, all around the four of them.

Ezekiel goes on to say that the wheels are the spirits of the Living Creatures; four wheel per Living Creature.

Portrait of the Lamb:

The Lamb, Jesus Christ, the Jewish Messiah, is crowned by a Crown of Thorns and standing glorified and triumphant over the Earth. Before Him, is the scroll of “God’s Government” as inscribed in Hebrew, and on it are the Seven Seals of Judgment on Earth. Around the Lamb is Seven Trumpets of Natural Disasters on Earth and beyond them are the Seven Bowls of God’s Wrath on Earth. Based off of this passage:

Revelation 5:1-8 – And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.

So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”

And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.

Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

If you are new to the scriptures don’t blow your top about a zombie lamb with mutant eyes and horns. The passage is followed by, “which are”, meaning they are symbolic. It is Jesus, who bears the scars of the crucifixion; The Lamb of God, that was sacrificed, yet lives.

4 – White Identity Stones:

Rev 2:17 – To him who overcomes… I (Jesus) will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.

On it, I inscribed in Hebrew the words, meaning Adam, or First Man, or First Ancestor.

The City of the Eternal Throne:

I made the whole layout as a Hexagram or Star of David. In the six street junctions are the six locations from 1-6. In the center of the whole city is the Palace of the Eternal Throne, illustrated in pictograms 0 and 8.

Twelve gates surround the circular walls, illustrated in bottom left pictogram 4. Rev 21:21 – The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.

I thank the Lord for the inspiration and for the ability and tools He gave so that I could complete this.

I think the best farewell would be this:

And behold, I (Jesus) am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”…

I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely…

He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. – Revelation 22:12-13, 16-17, 20-21
