“He who works with his hands is a laborer. He

About
Greetings. I am Josiah Yarbrough, the not-so-old founder
of The Elderly Cartographer & Woodwright.
What I do:
I sell my hand crafted wooden products, such as decorations, jewelry, weapons, and toys. I also am for hire. If you are in need of weapons or armor for your costume role-playing; jewelry for yourself or friend; or a decoration for your wall or knick-knack shelf; I would most gladly oblige.
All you have to do is Contact me!
Why I started:
I am a great lover of maps and wood (living or dead). When I was young, I would analyze local maps, department store kiosk maps, and Where's Waldo scenes. And for as long as I can remember, I drew cut-away scenes of vikings storing their loot in sea caves, and miners digging up troves of gold, silver, and other materials.
Then I stumbled upon something else; my enthusiasm for wood. Just for fun, I took a garden stake and turned it into a short dueling sword. Then it occurred to me that I could make most anything. From there I made Axes, Anakin Skywalker's Japor Snippet necklaces, dice, swords, shields, and plenty of other things. See my stores of maps and illustrations: The Elderly Cartographer
